Ingredients :

  • Minced chicken 200 grams
  • Onion 1 sliced finely
  • Green chili 1 sliced finely
  • Nutmeg powder 1 pinch
  • Caster sugar 1 pinch
  • Fresh coriander 1/2 bunch
  • Oil 1/2 liter
  • Samoosa sheets 12 to 15
  • Garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Paprika 1/4 tsp
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Method :

Chicken Samosas are often use as evening snacks, you can also present this to your guests, if you are hungry and you out Chicken Samosa can give you strength and energy. You can also make Chicken Samosas At home.

In a wok, add oil and heat on medium flame.

Now add garlic paste, minced chicken, salt and black pepper to taste, paprika or red chili powder, nutmeg powder and caster sugar and mix.

Cook until minced chicken is tender.

Remove from flame and let it cool.

Now add a finely sliced onion, a finely sliced green chili and fresh coriander and mix well.

Put a portion of mince mixture on the samoosa sheet and fold.

Seal it with a runny batter of flour and water or egg white.

Repeat the same with all samoosa sheets.

In a wok, heat oil and fry samoosas.

Serve delicious hot samoosas with your favorite dip.

Ingredients :

FOR THE PASTRY :

  • 4 oz. plain flour
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 oz. buti’er
  • 2 tablespoons warm milk

FOR THE STUFFING :

  • 1 onion
  • 2 green chills
  • 1/2 -inch fresh root ginger
  • 1 teaspoon fresh coriander leaves
  • Oil for frying
  • 1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds ½ teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 4 oz. peas, shelled
  • 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
  • Salt to taste
  • 4 oz. potatoes, boiled and cubed
  • 2, teaspoons lemon juice

Method :

Make the pastry as described in the previous recipe. Finely mince onion, chillis, ginger and coriander leaves, separately. Heat some oil in a pan and fry mustard seeds. When they begin to crackle add onion and fry till golden. Add chillis, ginger, and turmeric, fry for two minutes and add peas, garam masala and salt. Cook till peas are done. Add pota¬toes, coriander leaves and lemon juice, mix well and cook for one more minute. Remove from heat and cool. Fill and cook samosas as described in previous recipe

Ingredients :

  • Mutton mince ½ kg.
  • Ginger 1″ piece
  • Garlic 8 flakes
  • Garam masala 1 1/2 tsp.
  • Coriander leaves chopped 2 tbsps.
  • Mint leaves chopped 2 tbsps.
  • Onion finely chopped 1 no.
  • Green chilies cut fine 4 nos.
  • Thick curd 1 tbsp.
  • Maida As required
  • Oil for frying
  • Salt To taste

Method :

  1. Make a stiff dough with the maida, 4 tablespoons oil and salt.
  2. Make 20 medium sized balls of this dough.
  3. Make thin round chappatis of the balls.
  4. Heat a tava and roast the chappati on one side only.
  5. Make all the chappatis in the same way.
  6. Now cut each chappati into two pieces and keep them covered.
  7. Using a little water make a thick paste of 2 tablespoons maida and keep aside.
  8. Make a paste of the ginger and garlic.
  9. Heat oil in a frying pan and fry the onions, chilies and ginger-garlic paste.
  10. Now add the mince meat, salt and cook on a low flame till done.
  11. Add the garam masala, curd, coriander and mint leaves and cook for some
  12. more time.
  13. Remove from the flame and let it cool.
  14. Make a cone of each half chappati and fill with the mince.
  15. Then seal the edges with the flour paste.
  16. Make samosas of the balance chappatis in the above manner.
  17. Heat oil well and deepfry the samosas till golden brown.
  18. Serve hot with mint chutney.

Ingredients :

  • Chocolate Grated 1 cup
  • Cream 1/2 cup
  • Dry fruits 1/4 cup
  • Ghee for frying
  • Samosa patti as per requirement

Method :

Make a stuffing of grated chocolate and dry fruits, mix it well with soft hand, put in the somosa patti and give a shape of samosas, than heat ghee medium in a pan and fry it till it get golden brown and serve it with wiped cream.

Ingredients :

  • Refined flour 2 cup
  • Baking soda 1/4 tsp
  • Butter 1 tbsp
  • Salt 1/2 tsp
  • Oil for frying+5 tsp

Filling Ingredients:-

  • Potatoes (boiled and mashed) 3
  • Onion (chopped) 1/2
  • Mustard seeds 1/2 tsp
  • Turmeric powder 1 tsp
  • Red chillies powder 2 tsp
  • Coriander seeds 1/2 tsp
  • Green chillies 3
  • Lemon juice 2 tsp
  • Salt to taste

Method :

Mix baking soda, salt and 3tbsp oil in refined flour and knead. Set aside for 10 mins.

Make balls from dough; apply little oil and roll out into rounds.

Cover and set aside for 25 minutes. Heat 2tbsp oil in a pot and fry onion, mustard seeds and cumin seeds till golden. Add potatoes and all filling ingredients except lemon juice and fry for 5 minutes

Add lemon juice and remove form flame.

Cut rounds from centre and fold into cone shape.

Seal side of cone with flour paste. Fill with potato mixture and seal from top with flour paste.

Repeat process to make samosay.

Heat oil in wok and fry samosay till golden, remove on absorbent paper and serve.

Ingredients :

  • White flour 1/2 kg
  • Clarified butter 3 tbsp
  • Oil for fry
  • For filling:
  • Khoya 250 gm
  • Raisin 1/2cupW
  • Sugar 1/2 cup
  • Sesame 1/3 cup
  • Poppy seeds 2 tbsp
  • Fresh grated coconut 1 cup
  • Kewra essence few drops

Method :

In a mixing bowl add ½ kg white flour, 3 tbsp clarified butter and water to knead and leave for a while. Then roll it with the rolling pin and cut in round shapes. For filling, in a mixing bowl add 250 gm khoya, ½ cup sugar, 1/3 cup sesame, 1 cup fresh grated coconut, 2 tbsp poppy seed and few drops of kewra essence to mix. Filling is ready. Now place the mixture in round cut dough. Wet the edges with water and fold them in half round and brush egg or butter on top. Bake in the oven for 200c for 5 minutes and when colors comes again brush with butter and bake for 1 to 2 minutes and serve hot.
