How to Remove Feet Calluses Naturally at Home

Do not overuse or apply too much friction, pressure or irritate your hands or feet. Doing so may cause your skin to harden and dry. There is a specific term for it: callus. Cutting or slicing calluses is just a stupid idea. Not only is it painful, but doing so may lead to infections, which is a bigger problem.

Aside from not doing the acts mentioned above, there are other ways to ward off calluses. Having a dry and clean skin and wearing comfortable shoes can help ward off calluses. Foot file or pumice stone:
1. Soak feet.
2. File the calluses away with a foot file or pumice stone.

4. Rinse feet often.
5. Rinse pumice stone or foot file often.
6. Wait for the skin to turn pink.

Take a barefoot walk on a wet, sandy beach:

1. Completely dry the area with a towel.
2. Sprinkle a small amount of cornstarch.

Lemon juice:

Baking soda:

Removing chronic calluses :

  • Walk on sandy beach. Another good way to scrub the callus on the soles is to walk barefooted on sandy and wet beach.
  • Apply moisturizing lotion. After you scrub your callus, apply it generously with moisturizing lotion. It is best if you apply the lotion during bed time so you can wear socks to lock in the moisture.
  • Use salicylic acid patches. You can buy these patches at any pharmacy or stores. They are available without prescriptions. But, unregulated use may lead to burns and irritations. If you have any disorders such as diabetes, poor eyesight and circulation problems, refrain from using this product.
