Strawberry Shortcake Recipe
1 quarter or more fresh strawberries
1/2 cup sugar
2/3 cream cheese
1 cup powdered sugar
1 container chilled whipped cream
1 food cake, cut into cubes
Cut the strawberries in half.
Mix well after adding sugar
Allow it to cool
Beat cream cheese and powdered sugar into a fine mixture
Fold in the whipped cream for topping and cake cubes.
In an ungreased 13×9 dish, layer out or spread the cake
Refrigerate it after covering it for 2 hours
Top the cake with fresh strawberries, ready to serve.
